UX Design

In 2021 we started our design adventure: we followed a UX Design course, created our first mobile app and also got our first official website building jobs. We are very excited about that!

As designers we love creating attractive tools and interfaces (like illustrations, videos, apps and websites) that help people presenting themselves optimally. Our aim as a brand is to come up with designs that are appealing and accessible to all users.

An overview of the projects we have been working on, you can find below. Our you can check out our UX Portfolio.

Social good: designing an app & responsive website for a Childrens’ Home

In May 2022 we met Sathyan, a true Indian multi talent. Not only working as a psychologist and enterpreneur, but also a chef, and owner of Sunshine Guesthouse in Thiruvannamalai (South India).

When we met him at his guesthouse, he told us that since 2008 he also has 25 kids: this is the case because back then he was asked to adopt a Childrens’ Home.

When he found out about our design projects, he asked us to help him out with designing an app for his staff at Global Watch Trust.

Responsive webdesign My T-Shop: latest case study for our UX Course

Another assignment for our UX Design course was building a responsive website: a website that changes the way it looks to fit the screen size of the device it’s being viewed on.

To create this website, we again completed the design process from beginning to end (first empathizing with users; then defining their pain points and coming up with ideas for design solutions; next creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; and finally, testing the designs to get feedback).

Impression of the creative process

The result is My T-Shop, a webshop for design lovers. The platform offers them a fast, fun and easy way to extend their wardrobe – or to gift a friend – with original, customized T-Shirts.

We captured all steps of the design process in this case study. Enjoy!

Co-creating the brand & web design of Praktijk Level Up

How it started

One of the first webdesign opportunities we got, was a family affair: thinking along and co-creating the corporate identity for my sisters new business.
After working in a medical centre as a physical therapist for 15 years, in 2022 it was time for something new. She started Praktijk Level Up, offering physical therapy combined with transformational cupping treatment.

Because she started from scratch, she was figuring out and in need of a completely new corporate identity.
She asked us to think along about all the different aspects: the logo, web design, invoice and business cards, all in one uninform design.

Designing the Art Auction App: a case study for our UX Course

One of the assignments for our UX Design course was building an app from scratch. This included all of the 5 design steps: starting with researching and emphasizing with the user, next defining the problem statement. After that, ideating on possible solutions and prototyping the design. And finally, testing the result.

This resulted in the Art Auction App, an mobile app designed for MumbArt, a popular art gallery in Mumbai. This app enables art lovers to enhance their art knowledge & art collection on their phone.

Creating a promotion video for Handimachal Therapy Centre

How it started

As travellers we got stuck in lockdown in India. During the second COVID lockdown in 2021, we were staying in Himachal Pradesh and looking for an opportunity to support the local community.
Nivisha, the daughter of our guesthouse family in Naggar was a little girl, who has been physically challenged since the age of three. She needs continuous therapy and care. That is how we got in touch with the dedicated professionals of Handimachal Therapy Center.
